Sr. Financial Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Lead financial planning and analysis activities related to material costs, translating data into recommendations that support cost performance and execution priorities.
• Evaluate raw material purchasing activity and maintain reliable financial records to ensure accurate reporting and strong controllership.
• Collaborate with operations and business unit finance partners to identify opportunities for process improvements that increase efficiency and improve transparency into material cost drivers.
• Prepare timely financial reports and analytical summaries for internal stakeholders across operations, supply chain, and business leadership while aligning with U.S. accounting requirements and company financial guidelines.
• Analyze monthly inflation impacts, standard cost variances, and logistics expenses, and contribute to budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and ad hoc financial estimates.
• Enhance reporting tools and analytical processes related to raw material costs, working with cross-functional teams to deliver assigned improvement initiatives.
• Review and authorize designated business transactions in accordance with delegation of authority requirements, coordinating with finance, procurement, supply chain, and management stakeholders.
• Support decision-making by developing financial models and conducting ad hoc analysis using data mining techniques to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline; accounting credentials are a plus.• At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance, cost analysis, operations finance, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience working with material cost planning, raw material spend analysis, and logistics cost reporting.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and ad hoc analysis, with the ability to interpret complex data and present practical recommendations.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills and a strategic approach to solving business and financial challenges.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a global environment and across multiple time zones.
Compensation
