Sr. Financial Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Partner closely with facility and operations leaders to review financial performance, explain results, and provide guidance that supports better decision-making.
• Develop and refine budgets, forecasts, and financial models for multi-site operations to improve planning accuracy and visibility.
• Produce recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages, including detailed analysis of variances and performance trends.
• Evaluate operational and financial indicators such as occupancy levels, payer mix, staffing expense, and reimbursement patterns to identify risks and opportunities.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, business-focused manner that supports action and accountability.
• Collaborate with FP& A and related teams during month-end activities, audit support, and special projects requiring financial analysis.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and data-driven assessments to address emerging business questions and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.• At least 5 years of experience in FP& A or financial analysis, including support for multi-location or multi-facility environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with strong capability in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Demonstrated success communicating financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and serving as a consultative partner.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize competing deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Background in healthcare finance, including long-term care or a related provider environment, is preferred.
• Experience with reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Familiarity with healthcare data platforms and operational financial systems is advantageous.
Compensation
