Financial Systems Auditor
Responsibilities:
• Drive discovery sessions with finance and technical stakeholders to define needs, document workflows, and translate operational goals into system design decisions for the Concur environment.
• Build and manage a comprehensive testing approach by creating test scenarios, coordinating user validation activities, tracking issues, and confirming fixes through final release.
• Prepare and maintain clear system documentation, including functional requirements, standard operating procedures, workflow visuals, training content, and materials suitable for audit review.
• Participate directly in system setup and validation activities, contributing hands-on configuration support rather than serving only in a coordination capacity.
• Collaborate on interface testing across Concur and NetSuite, and support additional connected platforms such as payroll systems when applicable.
• Partner daily with IT and finance teams to ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in configuration choices and fully covered by test execution.
• Monitor defects, facilitate prioritization discussions, and support regression efforts to protect system performance through go-live and stabilization.
• Help maintain compliance-focused records and controls that support a regulated operating environment and internal audit expectations.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in a business systems, financial systems, or systems auditing role with strong hands-on analysis responsibilities.• Proven experience with Concur implementation, administration, or enhancement work is required.
• Strong background in system testing, including writing test scripts, coordinating UAT, and managing defects through resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to independently create detailed documentation such as functional specifications, SOPs, and end-user training materials.
• Experience with NetSuite, especially in implementation or integration-related work, is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with regulated or compliance-driven industries such as biotech, pharma, or similar environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a lean team structure with minimal oversight and maintain availability during West Coast business hours.
• Exposure to ADP payroll systems, SOX-related controls, or audit documentation practices is a plus.
