Finance Manager
Robert Half Management Resources is looking for a Finance Manager for one of our clients on an interim basis. This position is suited for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can step into an active planning and reporting environment, build meaningful financial insights from complex data, and support leadership with clear analysis. The role will contribute to forecasting, reporting, and executive-level materials while helping maintain accuracy and consistency across financial information.
Responsibilities:
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance review activities to support business planning and informed financial decisions.
• Build, enhance, and maintain detailed financial models that improve visibility into trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly results, identify key variances, and explain business drivers to finance leadership and stakeholders.
• Prepare custom financial reports and conduct targeted analyses in response to evolving questions from senior management.
• Transform and organize large data sets using advanced Excel techniques, including Power Query, to improve reporting quality and efficiency.
• Create clear presentation materials that translate financial findings into concise takeaways for executive audiences.
• Support month-end close activities by validating financial information and helping ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Contribute to finance process and system-related work, including tasks connected to enterprise planning tools such as Planful, when needed.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in corporate finance, FP& A, or a comparable financial management role.• Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical review of business performance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including practical experience with Power Query for data transformation and analysis.
• Ability to produce accurate financial reporting and synthesize large volumes of information into actionable insights.
• Experience preparing presentations and communicating financial concepts to leadership audiences.
• Familiarity with Planful is preferred; experience learning and working within enterprise performance management platforms is also valued.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior exposure to healthcare industry finance is highly desirable.
Compensation
