Role Summary

The IT Manager will oversee day-to-day IT operations while driving technology initiatives that support business objectives. This role is responsible for managing infrastructure, systems, security, vendor relationships, and end-user support while ensuring the stability, reliability, and scalability of the organization's technology environment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership skills and a customer-focused approach to IT service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and business systems.
  • Oversee daily IT operations and ensure the availability, performance, and security of technology resources.
  • Lead and mentor IT support staff, vendors, and service providers while fostering a high-performance team environment.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to improve operational efficiency and governance.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify technology needs and recommend solutions that support organizational goals.
  • Oversee cybersecurity initiatives, access controls, patch management, and incident response activities.
  • Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, software implementations, and technology rollouts.
  • Monitor technology budgets, track expenses, and assist with forecasting and resource planning.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, licensing, and third-party technology services.
  • Ensure business continuity through disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and modernization.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, systems administration, or related technology roles.
  • 2+ years of experience leading projects, teams, vendors, or technology initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, systems administration, and end-user support.
  • Experience managing cybersecurity controls, policies, and technology risk management initiatives.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, enterprise applications, and business-critical systems.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive solutions to resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Experience managing hybrid cloud environments, including Azure or AWS.
  • Experience supporting ERP, CRM, HRIS, or other enterprise business systems.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and governance best practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Security+, Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Practitioner, PMP, or similar.
  • Previous experience in a multi-site or distributed business environment.

Compensation

$120,000.00-$145,000.00 Yearly
