Senior Accountant
Robert Half is partnering with an innovative medical device manufacturer in the Carlsbad 92010 area that is expanding its Accounting team due to continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant looking to step into a highly visible role where you'll partner closely with Finance leadership, support strategic initiatives, and contribute to process improvements that help drive the business forward. What You'll Be Responsible For
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Analyze financial statements and investigate account variances
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure GAAP compliance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
- Assist with inventory accounting and fixed asset management
- Recommend and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with FP& A and operational leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Medical device, manufacturing, or biotech experience is highly prefe
