Accounts Payable Clerk
Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in an ongoing contract-to-permanent capacity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and can support a busy accounting team with timely and accurate invoice processing.
What you’ll do:
- Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
- Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
- Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
- Respond to vendor and internal payment inquiries
- Assist with check runs, ACH payments, and month-end support
- Maintain accurate AP records and filing systems
Qualifications:
- Previous accounts payable, accounting clerk, or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
