Associate Attorney

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful case work, collaborate with experienced trial attorneys, and gain hands-on experience in all phases of complex litigation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong writer, and confident advocate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to develop as a trial lawyer.

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Attorney, you will:

• Manage cases through all phases of litigation, from initial investigation through trial and appeal
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda
• Attend and argue hearings in state and federal courts
• Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys
• Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive case evaluations
• Communicate directly with clients, insurance carriers, corporate representatives, and opposing counsel
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation, exhibit management, and courtroom presentations
• Travel as needed for court appearances, depositions, hearings, and client meetings

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license and good standing with the applicable State Bar
• 1–7 years of litigation experience preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities
• Experience handling depositions, hearings, and motion practice is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
