Medical Receptionist

Robert Half is seeking a professional and dependable Bilingual Medical Receptionist for a healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office, strong customer service skills, and the ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Answer and route incoming phone calls
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
• Check patients in and out of the office
• Verify patient information and insurance details
• Collect copayments and provide receipts
• Update electronic medical records accurately
• Assist patients with forms, questions, and general office procedures
• Communicate with medical staff regarding patient needs and scheduling
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Perform general clerical duties, including scanning, filing, and data entry
• Keep the reception and waiting areas organized and presentable

Qualifications:

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• Previous medical receptionist or healthcare office experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable handling a high volume of calls and patients
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with electronic medical record systems is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• High school diploma or equivalent required
