Desktop Engineer

We are seeking a Desktop Engineer with strong experience supporting and managing enterprise desktop environments in a Windows 11 setting. This role requires deep technical knowledge of modern endpoint management, with Intune serving as the primary focus. The ideal candidate will also bring experience with SCCM, Windows imaging, Microsoft 365, and service desk operations in a co-managed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and operational support for enterprise desktop environments
• Manage and support Windows 11 devices across a co-managed environment
• Administer and support Microsoft Intune for endpoint configuration, deployment, compliance, and policy management
• Support SCCM for software deployment, patching, and systems management
• Perform and maintain Windows imaging processes for desktop and laptop deployments
• Support and troubleshoot Office 365 / Microsoft 365 environments
• Manage endpoint devices and ensure consistent performance, security, and compliance
• Work within a service desk/ticketing system to resolve escalated desktop support issues
• Support hybrid identity environments, including Hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID
• Collaborate with internal teams on desktop engineering initiatives, upgrades, and endpoint modernization efforts

Required Qualifications

• Strong depth of experience with Windows OS, specifically in a Windows 11 environment
• Hands-on experience with Intune; this is the primary requirement for the role
• Experience with SCCM
• Experience with Windows imaging
• Knowledge of Office 365 / Microsoft 365
• Experience in endpoint management
• Prior service desk and ticketing experience
• Experience supporting enterprise desktop environments in a structured IT setting

Qualifications:

• Windows 11
• Co-managed environment in Intune
• Hybrid Active Directory, currently on Entra ID
• VMware (a plus)
• Intune (a plus)
