ABOUT THE ROLE

The AI & Technology Enablement Specialist designs and delivers technology training for attorneys and staff globally across all offices. Delivers technology-related trainingincluding AI tools and digital adoption programson an ad hoc basis, in classroom settings, and via remote or hybrid delivery, ensuring consistent, high-quality learning experiences across all offices. Creates and maintains training content in multiple formats. Supports the Technology Training Manager in developing and implementing firmwide technology training programs, including the firm's Learning Management System (LMS), to drive the effective utilization and adoption of firm technology, applications, and AI-powered tools. Collaborates closely with other technology trainers, office-based Information Technology teams, firmwide Information Technology groups, attorneys, staff, and vendors to deliver high-quality technology training and support services. Provides in-person new hire technology orientation for the Washington, D.C. office. Travels to designated offices as needed. Ensures exceptional client service and user satisfaction in all aspects of the position.

  • Maintains working knowledge of the firm's AI tools, platforms, and technology, including their capabilities, appropriate use cases, and limitations within a legal environment.
  • Coaches attorneys and staff on practical AI use, including prompt construction, workflow integration, and responsible AI practices.
  • Supports AI tool rollouts and digital adoption initiatives by designing, developing, and delivering targeted training, prompting guides, use case libraries, workflow-specific guidance, and other learning resources.
  • Participates in AI tool evaluations and pilots, providing feedback on learnability, adoption barriers, end-user experience, and training implications.
  • Creates, maintains, and delivers training materials and customized technology and AI training programs, including quick reference guides, manuals, tip sheets, tutorials, and e-learning content.
  • Partners with attorneys and staff to identify training needs, design and deliver customized training programs, and proactively address learning needs to ensure end-user satisfaction.
  • Develops and enhances firmwide training initiatives, including virtual office hours, Tech Tips, AI adoption campaigns, and other learning content, while anticipating future application issues and emerging AI adoption patterns.
  • Delivers training on firm hardware, software, AI-powered tools, and specialized legal technology through classroom, virtual, hybrid, workshop, and one-on-one coaching formats, including new hire technology orientation for the Washington, D.C. office.

ABOUT YOU

  • College degree and coursework in information technology, instructional design, or related fields preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in technical training and content authoring, including the design, development, and delivery of training programs, reference materials, and e-learning content.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS; Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneDrive; AI tools and platforms, including Microsoft Copilot, generative AI assistants, and legal-specific AI applications; Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Snagit, EasyGenerator, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate AI capabilities into practical, user-facing training; recent and relevant AI or digital adoption certifications strongly desired.
  • Knowledge of project management standards and guidelines; law firm or professional services experience preferred.
  • Ability to assess learning needs, identify gaps, anticipate issues, apply sound judgment, and deliver responsive, effective training solutions.
  • Strong client service, communication, collaboration, project management, organizational, and technical skills, with the ability to build consensus, manage multiple priorities, meet competing deadlines, quickly learn new applications, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Demonstrates accountability, accuracy, reliability, a proactive, solution-oriented approach, flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed, occasional travel, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.

Washington, D.C. salary range: $87k to $122k
