Etna Supply is seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate (Heavy Materials) to join our M&E Fire Protection team. This role is perfect for someone who’s comfortable working with heavy materials, operating large equipment, and playing a key part in keeping our yard and logistics running smoothly.
This is a first shift position from 7am to 4pm, and will require overtime from time to time.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for pickup and delivery.
- Load, unload, receive, and stock materials accurately.
- Bundle pipe and assemble orders to customer specifications.
- Verify shipments and inventory to help prevent errors.
- Label, scan, and complete receiving and shipping documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and stock adjustments.
- Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organized, and safe.
- Pull materials for production as needed.
- Deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain reliable attendance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of warehouse experience preferred (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Knowledge of fire protection products and applications is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills (Eclipse experience preferred).
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Ability to become certified to operate powered industrial equipment.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
