Accounts Payable Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Review incoming vendor invoices, assign accurate account coding, and prepare items for timely processing.
• Manage the full accounts payable workflow from invoice receipt through payment completion while maintaining organized records.
• Coordinate check runs and help ensure vendors are paid correctly and according to established deadlines.
• Verify invoice details against supporting documentation and resolve discrepancies before submission.
• Maintain accurate financial data entry within accounting systems and keep payable files current and audit-ready.
• Work independently to prioritize tasks, follow through on deadlines, and support smooth day-to-day accounting operations.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience handling accounts payable duties in an accounting or finance environment.• Proven ability to code invoices accurately and process a steady volume of vendor payments.
• Familiarity with check runs, invoice review, and accounts payable recordkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial information.
• Ability to manage responsibilities with limited oversight and stay organized throughout the workday.
• Dependable communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a flexible part-time schedule.
Compensation
