Jr. Data & Business Analyst
We are looking for a Jr. Data & Business Analyst to support a growing Technology and Innovation team. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys turning operational data into practical business insights, especially in warehouse and supply chain settings. The role offers strong training, exposure to multiple projects, and a path toward expanded hours as business needs grow.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze inventory and operational data to identify trends, exceptions, and opportunities for better warehouse performance.
• Partner with warehouse staff and business users to understand day-to-day workflows and recommend practical process improvements.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, including updates related to excess stock, reporting results, and operational concerns.
• Support business analysis activities by documenting processes, gathering requirements, and helping translate operational needs into workable solutions.
• Assist the team with reporting, data validation, and ongoing review of warehouse-related information used for decision-making.
• Contribute to improvement initiatives tied to warehouse functions, supply chain operations, and business process efficiency.
• Learn and work within existing business applications and legacy tools used to monitor warehouse activity and operational performance.
• Create clear support materials, user-facing documentation, or help resources when needed to improve understanding of systems and processes.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience or relevant academic background in data analytics, business analytics, or a related field.• Working knowledge of data analysis and business analysis concepts, with the ability to interpret information and draw useful conclusions.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, supply chain logistics, or distribution environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple user groups and operational teams.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems, tools, and business processes.
• Interest in process improvement and supporting projects that enhance efficiency and workflow quality.
• Experience with technical writing, user support, or help desk-related work is a plus.
• Exposure to warehouse management systems or similar operational platforms is preferred.
