Employee Relations Contractor
Responsibilities:
• Manage employee relations cases from initial intake through resolution, ensuring timely follow-up and clear documentation.
• Advise managers on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, performance issues, and appropriate corrective action.
• Conduct thorough and impartial reviews of employee complaints, gathering facts and recommending practical next steps.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to promote consistent application of company policies and employment standards.
• Identify patterns in employee concerns and share insights that help reduce risk and improve the employee experience.
• Support conflict resolution efforts by facilitating conversations and helping teams work through workplace challenges.
• Maintain accurate records related to investigations, case activity, and outcomes in accordance with internal requirements.
• Provide guidance on sensitive employee matters while balancing business needs, fairness, and compliance obligations.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters in a corporate or industrial environment.• Strong knowledge of HR practices, workplace investigations, and policy interpretation.
• Ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across levels of an organization.
• Proven ability to document cases clearly and maintain organized, confidential records.
• Skilled at analyzing complex workplace issues and recommending balanced, practical solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with standard business systems and HR documentation tools.
Compensation
