Application Support Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Deliver daily functional and technical support for Oracle E-Business Suite R11i/R12 applications, resolving issues and minimizing disruption to business operations.
• Execute data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, loading, reconciliation, and accuracy checks for application changes and ongoing support needs.
• Adjust application setups, workflows, and reporting components to align system behavior with operational and business requirements.
• Support Oracle Financials and manufacturing or supply chain modules by diagnosing problems, recommending improvements, and implementing effective solutions.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot interfaces, extensions, and tailored application enhancements within the Oracle environment.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and design through testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Work closely with business users, analysts, and technical teams to deliver practical solutions that meet both functional and system needs.
• Create and maintain clear technical and process documentation, and provide timely communication to stakeholders regarding issues, progress, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite R11i/R12 in enterprise environments.• Strong background with Oracle Financials, including General Ledger and related modules, along with supply chain or manufacturing application support.
• Proven experience with data conversion, import and export processing, and validation activities tied to Oracle application changes or implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and support interfaces, customizations, extensions, and application enhancements, including work with Oracle Application Framework.
• Technical proficiency with PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Alerts, Oracle Forms, Oracle Developer 10g, Discoverer 11, and OAF personalization or customization.
• Functional knowledge of modules such as Inventory, Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Bill of Materials, Purchasing, and iExpense.
• Experience working through complete development and support lifecycles in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a proactive approach to learning new tools and integration technologies.
