Executive Assistant
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to senior leadership for a mission-focused nonprofit based in Durham, North Carolina. This fully onsite position is well suited to someone who brings strong judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to keep priorities moving in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing sensitive matters, and motivated by contributing to work that serves a meaningful purpose.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate executive calendars by arranging appointments, prioritizing requests, and ensuring leaders are prepared for daily commitments.
• Organize travel plans from start to finish, including reservations, itineraries, and related meeting logistics.
• Create, edit, and review correspondence, presentations, reports, and other materials for accuracy and professionalism.
• Prepare agendas, document meeting discussions, and monitor action items to help maintain progress after key conversations.
• Safeguard confidential information while handling sensitive communications and administrative matters with discretion.
• Provide administrative support for special initiatives, internal events, and board or committee activities as needed.
• Maintain orderly filing systems, records, and office documentation to support efficient access to information.

Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience in an Executive Assistant or senior-level administrative support role.• Proven background supporting executives or other senior leaders in a structured environment.
• Strong ability to manage complex scheduling demands and coordinate multiple moving parts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of discretion.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and close attention to detail.
• Demonstrated capacity to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and virtual meeting platforms.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with sound judgment and a high degree of confidentiality.
Compensation
$50,000.00-$65,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
