Sr. Recruiter
We are looking for a Sr.Recruiter to support a non-profit K-12 educational network in New York, New York through a Contract assignment. In this role, you will manage end-to-end hiring for senior-level network support positions, helping the organization attract talent who align with its mission and operational goals. This opportunity is ideal for someone who combines strategic sourcing expertise with a strong ability to guide candidates and hiring teams through an efficient, high-quality recruitment process.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the complete recruitment lifecycle for senior network support openings, from intake meetings through offer stage.
• Build and maintain targeted sourcing strategies to identify talent with relevant experience, mission-driven talent across multiple channels, including industry networks and recruiting platforms.
• Partner closely with hiring leaders to define role expectations, align on candidate profiles, and deliver timely updates on search progress and market feedback.
• Screen applicants and conduct in-depth candidate evaluations to assess experience, motivation, and overall fit for the organization’s needs.
• Manage candidate pipelines within the applicant tracking system, ensuring records, communications, and workflow stages remain accurate and up to date.
• Use tools such as Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter to expand outreach efforts, strengthen talent pipelines, and improve search efficiency.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain a positive candidate experience by providing clear communication, preparation guidance, and timely follow-up throughout the process.
• Support recruitment reporting and hiring activity tracking to help the team monitor progress, address bottlenecks, and improve overall recruiting outcomes.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruiting for detail-focused or corporate roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.• Background recruiting for senior-level positions, with the ability to evaluate specialized talent and align candidates to business needs.
• Strong sourcing skills with experience using online recruiting tools and talent search platforms to identify and engage prospective candidates.
• Hands-on experience working in an applicant tracking system, preferably Greenhouse.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other modern recruiting resources.
• Ability to manage a high volume of activity while maintaining organization, accuracy, and responsiveness.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across hiring teams.
• Experience supporting mission-driven, education, or non-profit organizations is helpful but not required.
Compensation
