Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily shipping and inventory operations in Waltham, Massachusetts. This is a Contract position with a standard schedule, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work and takes pride in accuracy and organization. The role involves preparing orders, handling shipments, maintaining stock movement, and contributing to a safe, efficient work environment. Candidates who are detail-focused, physically active, and comfortable using computers in a fast-paced setting will do well in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare customer orders for shipment by selecting items accurately, confirming order details, and packaging products securely for delivery.

• Process outgoing packages through shipping systems and coordinate carrier documentation to ensure timely dispatch.

• Handle rental, ecommerce, and specialty order shipments, including instruments, bows, printed materials, and accessories.

• Review third-party marketplace orders and help resolve shipping discrepancies or incorrect deliveries when they occur.

• Use computer-based tools to record shipment activity, update order status, and maintain accurate inventory movement records.

• Reorganize back stock and move materials within the warehouse to support efficient storage and order fulfillment.

• Keep shipping stations, equipment, and surrounding work areas clean, orderly, and aligned with safety practices.

• Provide support across warehouse functions by assisting with receiving tasks and helping with general facility upkeep as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a warehouse shipping or inventory-related role.
• Valid driver’s license with a strong driving record.
• Ability to read and write in English, follow spoken instructions, and perform basic arithmetic accurately.
• Comfortable using computers and learning shipping, order management, or inventory software.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable work habits, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Ability to remain active throughout the day, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support coworkers and respond to product-related questions.
• Experience or familiarity with inventory tracking, asset inventory, physical inventory, or warehouse line support is preferred.

Compensation

$19.00-$24.00 Hourly
