Call Center Specialist

We are looking for a Call Center Specialist to support a mission-driven non-profit organization in Piedmont, South Carolina. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping donors, handling high-volume inbound calls, and resolving service-related concerns with professionalism and care. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for donor inquiries while delivering a positive and efficient customer experience.

Responsibilities:
• Respond to incoming calls from donors and provide courteous, solution-focused assistance.
• Investigate and resolve questions related to donor rewards, account concerns, and general support needs.
• Document call details accurately in customer service systems to maintain clear and complete records.
• Guide callers through issue resolution steps and escalate more complex concerns when appropriate.
• Use office and call center tools effectively to manage conversations, track interactions, and follow up as needed.
• Maintain a high standard of service by communicating clearly, listening carefully, and addressing donor needs promptly.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a call center or customer-facing support role.
• Comfort handling inbound calls in a fast-paced service environment.
• Working knowledge of customer service software and basic office tools.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented phone manner.
• Ability to troubleshoot routine service issues and provide clear guidance.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts such as Ethernet is preferred.

Compensation

$16.15-$18.70 Hourly
