Dispatcher
We are looking for a Dispatcher to support facilities operations for a retail food store organization. This contract opportunity focuses on coordinating maintenance and service activity, keeping requests organized, and ensuring field teams receive timely updates. The role is well suited to someone who can manage competing priorities, communicate clearly, and maintain accurate documentation while supporting safe and efficient daily operations.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate incoming maintenance and facility support requests, assess priority levels, and route work to the appropriate field personnel.
• Schedule service activity based on urgency, operational impact, and resource availability while tracking progress through completion.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, work performed, and follow-up actions to support reliable reporting and continuity.
• Communicate clearly with technicians, internal stakeholders, and service partners to ensure requests are understood and addressed promptly.
• Order and replenish materials or supplies needed by maintenance and facilities staff to complete assigned work.
• Support additional facilities-related tasks as directed by leadership, including administrative and operational coordination.
• Report workplace incidents, accidents, or injuries promptly to the appropriate management team in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow established safety and risk management standards and participate in required meetings, training sessions, and hazard reviews.
Qualifications:
• Experience in dispatching, service coordination, or a related support role within facilities, maintenance, or field operations.• Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and retail store equipment sufficient to support service triage and communication.
• Strong customer service and call center communication skills with the ability to handle requests professionally and efficiently.
• Familiarity with computer-aided dispatch systems or similar tools used to assign and monitor service activity.
• Ability to coordinate logistics, manage multiple requests at once, and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid recordkeeping and administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable using standard computer applications and learning company systems and processes as needed.
Compensation
