Paralegal

We are looking for a Contract Paralegal to provide on-site legal and administrative support for a short-term assignment in Bethesda, Maryland. This role will assist attorneys and office staff with document handling, court-related filings, and day-to-day case support in a fast-paced office setting. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit legal documents through electronic filing systems while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Organize and maintain case materials, including physical files and digital records, to support efficient matter management.

• Provide direct support to two attorneys and collaborate with office personnel on daily administrative and legal tasks.

• Handle case filing activities and track documentation to help keep matters moving according to deadlines.

• Assist with dictation-based tasks and document preparation; prior dictation experience is not required.

• Move and arrange paper files as needed, including lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Use Microsoft Office applications to draft, format, and update correspondence, case documents, and internal records.

Qualifications:

• Strong typing skills with the ability to produce accurate work efficiently.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Previous experience in a law office or paralegal support environment is preferred.
• Ability to work fully on site in Bethesda, Maryland, Monday through Friday.
• Comfortable handling physical files and lifting up to 50 pounds when needed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to support multiple team members effectively.

Compensation

$19.00-$22.00 Hourly
