Sr. Paralegal

Robert Half is seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation and arbitration matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex cases from inception through trial, hearing, and appeal while collaborating with a highly skilled legal team. Spanish language proficiency is a plus but not required.

Start Date: Immediate start pending Interview

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid (5 Days In-Office During Training, then 3 Days In-Office / 2 Days Remote)

Compensation: $40.00–$50.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Technology: Provided

Hours: Standard Business Hours + Overtime as Needed

Key Responsibilities

Litigation & Case Management

• Manage case files from inception through resolution.
• Maintain and organize both electronic and hard-copy files.
• Coordinate document productions and filings.
• Assist with discovery management, document reviews, and privilege logs.
• Work closely with attorneys, vendors, and legal support teams.

Legal Research

• Conduct legal and factual research utilizing PACER, Westlaw, Lexis, Practical Law, CourtLink, and other legal resources.
• Obtain records, publications, and supporting documentation for litigation matters.
• Research experts, arbitrators, and relevant case-related information. Depositions, Hearings & Trial Preparation
• Prepare deposition, hearing, mediation, and trial materials.
• Organize exhibits, transcripts, witness files, and evidence.
• Assist with cite-checking, Bluebooking, and preparation of Tables of Authorities.
• Maintain litigation calendars and monitor court deadlines.
• Support trial teams with logistics and courtroom preparation. 

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation paralegal experience; 5+ years strongly preferred.
• Trial, hearing, and deposition preparation experience required.
• Court filing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local court procedures.
• Experience with document review platforms such as Relativity, DISCO, or similar systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
• International Arbitration experience is a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, when required.
• Occasional travel for depositions, hearings, mediations, or trials.
• Ability to work in-office five days per week during training and transition to a hybrid schedule of three days in-office after training.
