HR Generalist

New Brighton, MN 55112, US Temporary
Compensation: $35 to $42 Hourly

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations for a service-focused organization in New Brighton, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position will play a key role in employee support, HR administration, onboarding coordination, and benefits-related activities. The ideal candidate brings a practical understanding of employee relations, leave administration, and HR systems while delivering responsive and organized support across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
• Provide daily human resources support by handling employee questions, maintaining records, and assisting with core HR administrative processes.
• Guide onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation, scheduling, and coordination to ensure a smooth start for employees.
• Support employee relations matters by responding to workplace concerns, gathering information, and helping maintain consistent HR practices.
• Assist with benefits administration by answering coverage questions, processing enrollment updates, and coordinating with employees and vendors as needed.
• Manage leave-related tasks, including FMLA documentation, tracking, and communication in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations.
• Maintain and update employee information within HRIS platforms, including Oracle, to help ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
• Prepare HR documents, process status changes, and support compliance-related recordkeeping for personnel actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve HR workflows and provide dependable support for ongoing human resources initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in human resources, including administrative support and employee-facing responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of employee relations practices and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Experience coordinating onboarding activities and supporting new employee documentation processes.
• Familiarity with benefits administration and employee leave processes, including FMLA.
• Hands-on experience using HRIS tools, with exposure to Oracle preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficiently.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees across different levels of the organization.

Compensation

$35.00-$42.00 Hourly
