Product Manager
We are looking for a Product Manager to lead strategy, development, and ongoing enhancement of software, data, reporting, and analytics products supporting Studio business operations. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party vendors to define product vision, shape roadmaps, and deliver solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in product management, business analysis, reporting platforms, and analytics, with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into actionable product strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop strong partnerships with business stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor on product strategy and technology solutions.
· Define product vision, roadmap, and priorities in collaboration with leadership and business partners.
· Gather, analyze, and communicate business requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
· Serve as the primary owner of third-party reporting platforms and internally developed software products.
· Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and provide recommendations supported by business value and evidence.
· Create, prioritize, groom, and accept user stories aligned to validated business needs and measurable outcomes.
· Partner with development teams to deliver dashboards, analytics solutions, dossiers, and visualizations using MicroStrategy and other BI platforms.
· Identify data sources and integration opportunities in collaboration with business analysts, product teams, and technical stakeholders.
· Build proofs of concept using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude to validate ideas before committing engineering resources.
· Define, track, and report on KPIs that measure product performance, business value, and ROI.
· Perform product administration activities including user access reviews, vendor management, and cloud platform maintenance initiatives.
· Communicate project status, risks, opportunities, and achievements through formal stakeholder communications.
Qualifications:
Core Qualifications:
· 7+ years of business analysis experience within large enterprise environments spanning business and technology domains.
· 5+ years of Product Management experience with demonstrated ownership of product outcomes, or equivalent cross-functional product leadership experience.
· 3+ years of experience working within Agile Scrum environments.
· 3+ years of experience using MicroStrategy (MCE/Cloud preferred) or comparable business intelligence platforms.
· Experience designing, implementing, and supporting software, data, reporting, or analytics products.
· Ability to build working proofs of concept using AI-assisted coding tools to validate concepts and business needs.
· Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to support recommendations using data and evidence.
· Experience defining KPIs and measuring product success against business objectives.
· Strong project management, prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Knowledge of film production, studio operations, or entertainment industry workflows.
· Experience developing financial dashboards and reporting solutions.
· Experience building production software applications or enterprise analytics tools beyond prototyping.
· Strong SQL skills with experience writing and troubleshooting queries.
· Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other modern BI platforms.
· Experience influencing executive stakeholders and managing competing priorities across large organizations.
· Experience supporting cloud-based analytics and reporting environments.
· Experience managing diverse portfolios of enterprise applications, including vendor solutions and internally developed products.
