Account Executive
We are looking for an Account Executive to help expand our presence in the industrial manufacturing sector. This position focuses on identifying growth opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and guiding sales efforts for complex equipment and service solutions. The ideal candidate brings a consultative approach, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to turn market insights into measurable business results.
Responsibilities:
• Build and strengthen the company’s presence in the market by promoting equipment, rebuild services, upgrades, maintenance programs, and related support solutions.
• Identify new revenue opportunities through prospecting, referrals, industry networking, and ongoing relationship development with current and prospective customers.
• Develop and carry out targeted sales strategies designed to increase market penetration, broaden the customer base, and support overall business growth.
• Meet regularly with clients and prospects to understand operational needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and cultivate long-term partnerships.
• Monitor industry activity, customer demand, and competitive developments, then share actionable insights with leadership to help shape commercial priorities.
• Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, to support trade events, sales materials, brand visibility efforts, and coordinated outreach initiatives.
• Track pipeline progress, evaluate sales performance, and use data-driven analysis to improve forecasting accuracy and business development results.
• Deliver a high standard of customer engagement by responding effectively to client needs and maintaining a thorough, solutions-oriented approach throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications:
• At least 10 years of experience selling capital equipment, ideally within machinery manufacturing or a related industrial environment.• Demonstrated success managing extended sales cycles, from early opportunity development through negotiation and contract close.
• Strong business development capabilities, including lead generation, account growth, and opportunity identification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build credibility across a range of client and internal stakeholders.
• Capacity to learn technical product details quickly and explain complex machinery solutions in a clear, customer-focused manner.
• Solid computer proficiency, including practical experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60% of the time to support customer meetings, business development activities, and industry events.
Compensation
