Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to support litigation matters in a Contract position based in Texas. This opportunity is well suited for a licensed legal specialist who can manage casework efficiently, prepare persuasive legal documents, and contribute sound legal judgment throughout the litigation process. The role requires a strong command of civil litigation procedures, discovery practices, and written advocacy.

Responsibilities:
• Handle civil litigation matters from case assessment through ongoing legal proceedings.
• Prepare, revise, and file motions, briefs, and other court-related documents with accuracy and strategic focus.
• Manage discovery activities, including drafting requests, reviewing responses, and organizing supporting case materials.
• Conduct legal research and apply findings to case strategy, written arguments, and procedural decisions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and other legal team members to support case progress and deadlines.
• Review factual records, evidence, and correspondence to identify risks, strengthen arguments, and support litigation planning.

Qualifications:

• Active license to practice law in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience handling civil litigation matters.
• Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and other formal legal submissions.
• Strong working knowledge of discovery processes and related documentation.
• Excellent legal research, analytical thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters while meeting court and client deadlines.

Compensation

$28.00-$32.00 Hourly
