Cable Technician

Robert Half is seeking a Cable Technician to support a one-day technology deployment project in Tumwater, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on IT support experience who is comfortable working onsite alongside a Lead Technician to assist with various installation and infrastructure tasks.

Project Details:

• Location: Tumwater, WA (Onsite)
• Pay Rate: $25/hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist with IT hardware installations and deployments.
• Support structured cabling, cable routing, and cable terminations.
• Perform punch-downs and assist with basic network connectivity tasks.
• Inventory, organize, and track IT equipment and materials.
• Work alongside the Lead Technician to complete project objectives efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area throughout the project.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in IT support, desktop support, or field services.
• Experience with structured cabling, cable terminations, and punch-downs.
• Comfortable handling and organizing IT equipment and inventory.
• Ability to follow technical direction and work collaboratively with a project team.
• Reliable transportation to the project site.
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
