HR Recruiter
We are looking for an experienced HR Recruiter to support hiring efforts for a retail food store organization. This Long-term Contract opportunity will focus on managing active openings tied to business growth, including staffing for new store launches, while partnering with the corporate office to attract and secure talent with relevant experience. The ideal candidate brings strong full-cycle recruiting experience, confidence in candidate engagement and compensation discussions, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for a growing number of openings, from initial outreach through offer acceptance and onboarding coordination.
• Source candidates with relevant experience through job postings, talent searches, and proactive outreach strategies designed to build strong applicant pipelines.
• Review resumes and applications to identify suitable talent and move promising candidates efficiently through the hiring process.
• Conduct candidate conversations and interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and alignment with business needs.
• Partner with hiring stakeholders to support recruitment for upcoming store openings and other priority hiring initiatives.
• Manage compensation discussions with selected candidates and help guide offers toward timely acceptance.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and workflow updates within the applicant tracking system.
• Support onboarding preparation by ensuring new hires are informed, documented, and ready for a smooth start.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in recruiting, including full-cycle hiring responsibility.• Background in corporate recruiting, ideally within retail, food retail, or a similarly high-volume environment.
• Demonstrated strength in candidate sourcing and screening across multiple open positions.
• Experience conducting interviews and assessing applicants for both skills and overall fit.
• Proficiency using applicant tracking systems to manage recruiting activity and documentation.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams.
• Comfortable discussing compensation and navigating offer negotiations.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
Compensation
