HRIS Coordinator
Responsibilities:
• Manage a range of employee leave programs, including medical, family, personal, and other approved absences, while ensuring each case is handled consistently and effectively.
• Evaluate leave submissions and supporting documents to confirm they meet internal guidelines and applicable policy requirements.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records in the HRIS, tracking important milestones such as approval dates, documentation deadlines, and return-to-work timelines.
• Guide employees and people leaders through leave procedures by explaining eligibility, required forms, and next steps in a clear and timely manner.
• Partner with benefits vendors and internal stakeholders to support accurate leave processing and resolve questions related to coverage or documentation.
• Monitor leave activity to help ensure alignment with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies.
• Coordinate return-to-work clearance and related paperwork to help employees transition back into the workplace smoothly.
• Provide day-to-day HR administrative support connected to employee relations, onboarding activities, and benefit-related processes as needed.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in HR coordination, HRIS support, leave administration, or a closely related human resources function.• Working knowledge of employee leave practices and applicable compliance considerations at the company, state, and federal level.
• Experience using HR information systems to maintain employee records, monitor case activity, and support reporting accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain policies and procedures effectively to employees, managers, and external partners.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Background in HR administration, benefits support, employee relations, or onboarding coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow deadlines closely, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
