Quality Assurance Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support our client within the Non-Profit sector in Portland, Oregon. This Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is interested in trengthening organizational effectiveness and compliance through the investigation and resolution of complex concerns, complaints, and sensitive matters. We're looking for someone who is skilled in gathering facts, maintaining confidentiality, identifying root causes, and delivering timely, well-documented resolutions while supporting diverse populations with professionalism and empathy.

Responsibilities:

• Review records and supporting documentation to determine eligibility, accuracy, and compliance with established guidelines.

• Apply policies and procedures to make determinations, document findings, and communicate outcomes clearly.

• Investigate discrepancies, incomplete information, and service-related concerns, resolving issues or escalating as needed.

• Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation to support decision-making, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

• Identify unusual patterns, trends, or potential compliance concerns and recommend appropriate follow-up actions.

• Monitor recurring issues and process gaps, providing insights that support quality improvement and service excellence.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve concerns and deliver positive customer outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Experience in high-volume data entry or data processing roles requiring strong accuracy and speed.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer-based record review and documentation.

• Background in quality assurance, auditing or a related administrative function.

• Ability to interpret policies, apply decision criteria consistently, and manage sensitive information with discretion.

• Strong investigative and problem-solving skills for reviewing discrepancies and validating documentation.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain guidelines to members or partners.

• Customer service experience with a detail-oriented, responsive approach to internal and external interactions.
