SBA Loan Closer

We are seeking an experienced SBA Loan Closer to manage the closing process for SBA 7(a) and 504 loans. This position coordinates with borrowers, lenders, attorneys, title companies, and internal teams to ensure loan documents are accurate, compliant, and completed on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage SBA loans from approval through closing and funding
• Review loan authorizations, credit approvals, and closing conditions
• Prepare and review loan documents for accuracy and SBA compliance
• Collect and validate required borrower, collateral, insurance, and entity documentation
• Coordinate lien searches, title work, appraisals, environmental reports, and flood determinations
• Ensure all required conditions are satisfied before funding
• Communicate with borrowers and third-party partners throughout the closing process
• Resolve documentation issues and proactively address closing delays
• Maintain accurate loan files and update the loan system throughout the process
• Support post-closing documentation, quality-control reviews, and audit requests

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of SBA loan closing experience preferred
• Working knowledge of SBA 7(a) and/or 504 lending requirements
• Experience reviewing SBA loan authorizations and closing documents
• Knowledge of commercial loan documentation, collateral, lien perfection, and insurance requirements
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple closings simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a remote environment
• Proficiency with loan documentation systems and Microsoft Office
