Accounts Receivable Specialist

·      Prepare and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

·      Process high-volume transactions and maintain customer account records.

·      Apply cash receipts and post customer payments to the appropriate accounts.

·      Prepare bank deposits and assist with daily cash management activities.

·      Process chargebacks, deductions, credit memos, and account adjustments.

·      Reconcile accounts receivable balances and assist with reconciling A/R to the General Ledger.

·      Prepare journal entries related to accounts receivable and cash transactions.

·      Review and analyze aging reports to identify delinquent accounts.

·      Support the collections process through customer follow-up, collections calls, and account resolution activities.

·      Prepare aging schedules and reporting for management and the collections department.

·      Communicate with customers regarding invoice discrepancies, payment status, and outstanding balances.

·      Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and month-end close activities.

·      Research and resolve payment discrepancies and customer account issues.

Qualifications:

·      2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Collections experience preferred.

·      Experience with invoicing, cash applications, payment posting, and collections.

·      Knowledge of chargebacks, credit memos, account reconciliations, and cash management procedures.

·      Experience preparing journal entries and supporting month-end close.

·      Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes and accounting principles.

·      Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and lookup functions.

·      Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar software.

·      Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·      Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
