Job Description:
JSL Technologies is seeking a Technical Data Management Specialist to provide engineering, logistics, and Production Technical Data Management support for the Digital Engineering Department. The position supports technical documentation for AEGIS Combat Systems Support Equipment and Littoral Strike Warfare.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide engineering, logistics, planning, and documentation support for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Ordnance Alterations (ORDALTs), Ship Alterations (SHIPALTs), Technical Manuals (TMs), Electronic Technical Manuals (ETMs), Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Allowance Parts Lists (APLs), Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Cards, Failure-Based Reports (FBRs), Illustrated Parts Lists (IPLs), and engineering drawings.
· Analyze redlines and review, update, and technically edit combat system manuals in accordance with applicable military standards and required formats.
· Attend working groups and review meetings to support technical, formatting, and engineering drawing accuracy as part of Production Technical Data Management.
· Prepare meeting minutes in accordance with task requirements.
· Update the database management and publishing system after approval of the final document version.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
· Seven (7) years of professional engineering experience.
· Experience supporting engineering, logistics, or technical data management activities.
· Experience reviewing technical documentation, redlines, technical manuals, or engineering drawings for technical accuracy and required format.
· Ability to communicate effectively in writing and participate in technical working groups and review meetings.
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
· Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience supporting AEGIS Combat Systems Support Equipment or Littoral Strike Warfare.
· Experience with Production Technical Data Management and military technical documentation.
· Familiarity with ECPs, ORDALTs, SHIPALTs, TMs, ETMs, IETMs, APLs, PMS Cards, FBRs, IPLs, or engineering drawings.
· Experience with a technical database management or publishing system.
Security Clearance:
Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD Government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include, but not be limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
