WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

The Specialty Equipment segment includes Anderson Dahlen, located in Ramsey, MN, and Waconia, MN. Anderson Dahlen delivers end-to-end equipment design-build and contract manufacturing, with precision fabrication – cutting, forming, machining, welding, finishing, and complex assemblies – backed by engineering, integration, and complete process solutions including skids and sanitary platforms tailored to customer applications. Anderson Dahlen is ISO 9001:2015 certified, as well as ASME, AWS, and PED compliant.
The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $23-$27/hour.

POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities are material handling, shipping, and receiving. Professional coordination and participation in the daily work of warehouse inventory. These tasks include shipping and receiving, picking parts for jobs and work orders, organizing inventory in the stockroom according to the company’s ISO 9001 quality system, and ensuring the accuracy of on-hand inventory data. Operating picking, movement of completed WIP parts, receiving, unloading trucks, and inventory management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages and supervises the inventory transaction processes to ensure inventory accuracy and timeliness.
- Confers and advises departments and project personnel on inventory or inventory management-related issues.
- Cycle counting sheets, physical inventory sheets, and is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the on-hand inventory count.
- Liaison and support the different shop departments to ensure proper material is on hand for the day.
- Prepares statistical and information reports on material coordination and warehouse activities.
- Support the administration and data entry of physical inventories.
- Manages daily cycle count activities, including investigating and resolving variances, approving them where appropriate.
- Maintain the stockroom, material storage, and handling areas.
- Manage consumables, dangerous goods/chemicals, or similar items.
- Shipping/Receiving, picking parts, inventory organization, and cleaning the stock rooms.
- Collect OQE documents in the receiving process, assign QA numbers to parts, and maintain the traceable materials log and records.
- Receive and process material orders daily, including accepting deliveries, labeling them, and distributing packages and letters internally.
- Maintain the company stockroom by cleaning, organizing, and labeling items in storage on a regular basis.
- Keep records of goods that have been received and prepare receiving reports for supervisors.
- Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by boxing and lifting items as necessary and operating forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks for large items.
- Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with shipping companies and internal customers who are receiving goods.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-4 years’ experience working in a warehouse setting, fulfilling receiving duties and responsibilities.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of computer programs and Material Handler equipment.
- Experience with spreadsheet or database software such as Microsoft Excel.
- Experience utilizing an ERP System such Made to Manage.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Anderson Dahlen fosters a manufacturing-type environment. Moderately heavy work requiring the occasional lifting of objects weighing 50 pounds or less. In the performance of essential duties, the incumbent may be required to operate a variety of industrial machining tools.
