Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the Project Manager and Construction Manager with day-to-day project execution.
Coordinate with contractors, design teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.
Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, field instructions, and design clarifications.
Maintain project logs for RFIs, submittals, changes, inspections, deficiencies, and action items.
Identify constructability issues, drawing conflicts, scope gaps, and field coordination concerns.
Monitor construction progress against approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract requirements.
Conduct site walks and prepare field reports documenting progress, quality issues, and project constraints.
Support constructability reviews, value engineering, pay-application reviews, cost tracking, and change management.
Review contractor change proposals for scope, cost, schedule impact, and supporting documentation.
Support short-term scheduling, milestone tracking, site logistics, inspections, shutdowns, and equipment deliveries.
Facilitate project meetings, prepare minutes, and track action items through resolution.
Support QA/QC, punch-list management, commissioning readiness, system turnover, and project closeout.
Maintain as-built drawings and assist with turnover documentation, including test records, certifications, manuals, and warranties.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Knowledge of commercial, industrial, or technically complex construction processes.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, payment applications, and field documentation.
Experience with construction scheduling, cost tracking, progress reporting, and contractor coordination.
Working knowledge of constructability reviews, QA/QC, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Revu.
Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, or a comparable construction-management platform.
Familiarity with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is preferred.
Experience with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cleanroom, laboratory, or other regulated facilities is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with GMP construction, commissioning, qualification, clean utilities, or process systems is preferred.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Approximately five years of experience in project engineering, field engineering, construction management, or a similar project-delivery role.
Experience supporting large pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life-sciences, advanced-manufacturing, laboratory, healthcare, or other technically complex capital projects is preferred.

The salary range for this full-time role is $80,900.00-$107,900.01 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
