Vice President of Human Resources
Position Summary:
The Vice President of Human Resources provides strategic leadership for the organization's human resources function, driving initiatives that align people strategies with Avidex's business objectives and long-term growth. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, this role serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, partnering across the organization to develop talent strategies, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and foster a high-performing, engaged workforce.
Working closely with business leaders, the Vice President of Human Resources oversees all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including payroll and benefits administration, talent acquisition, organizational development, succession planning, total rewards, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR operations. This position is responsible for leading and developing the Human Resources team while ensuring scalable processes, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and the accurate, compliant administration of payroll and employee benefit programs across the organization.H

What You'll Do
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide Human Resources strategies aligned with Avidex's business objectives and long-term vision.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the Executive Leadership Team on organizational design, workforce planning, culture, and talent strategy.
- Lead all aspects of Human Resources, including payroll, benefits administration, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, performance management, compliance, learning and development, and HR operations.
- Provide executive oversight of payroll operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing across the organization.
- Develop and oversee employee benefits strategies, including vendor partnerships, plan administration, compliance, employee communications, and continuous program evaluation.
- Partner with Finance to ensure payroll, benefits, and compensation programs are administered efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Build and execute succession planning and leadership development initiatives to strengthen organizational capability and internal talent pipelines.
- Design and oversee competitive compensation and total rewards programs that support employee engagement while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
- Partner with business leaders to improve organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and performance outcomes.
- Lead change management initiatives that support organizational growth, acquisitions, and business transformation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Utilize workforce metrics and HR analytics to inform executive decision-making and measure organizational performance.
- Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing Human Resources team focused on operational excellence and exceptional employee support.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive HR role.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic HR initiatives within a mid-sized or large organization.
- Experience overseeing payroll and employee benefits administration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing Human Resources teams.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday at the Lake Forest, California office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
- SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or comparable senior Human Resources certification.
- Previous experience serving as a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Vice President of Human Resources, or equivalent executive HR leader.
- Experience supporting organizations within technology, construction, engineering, or professional services industries.
- Experience presenting to executive leadership, Boards of Directors, and private equity or shareholder groups.
