About this role:

Wells Fargo’s Corporate Credit Risk Oversight & Allowance organization is seeking highly motivated individual to join a high-profile team and to serve as a Lead Risk Analytics Consultant. The Loss Forecast and Reporting group is responsible for independently overseeing the analysis, management and data of credit risk exposures and the processes used to analyze those risks across the company.

The group is seeking an individual to assist and lead in managing the flow, control, organization and quality of data and reporting that connects the credit loss forecasting teams to the key credit reporting processes, including CCAR (stress test), Monthly Loss Forecast, recovery and resolution and other business reporting and analytical processes. Additionally, this position will assist in the documentation of business requirements, contribution to design decisions, and serving as a change agent to ensure all impacted stakeholders are well prepared to adopt process change.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives related to business analysis, including those that are cross functional, with broad impact, and act as key participant in data aggregation, monitoring, and reporting of stress testing and monthly loss forecast for Risk Analytics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to identify requirements, drive process and technology improvements, and ensure compliance with Finance and Risk governance frameworks, controls, and documentation requirements
  • Support end-to-end implementation activities, including test planning and execution, documentation updates, stakeholder support, issue resolution, and post-implementation operational readiness.
  • Review and analyze data to provide results specific to businesses supported.
  • Make decisions in complex product strategies and risk exposure, requiring solid understanding of business unit projects and regulatory responses, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead Analytic and Reporting to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, less experienced to more experienced managers, to resolve production, project, and regulatory issues, and achieve risk analytics goals.
  • Lead projects, teams, and mentor.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with regulatory reporting frameworks and governance, including the development, validation, and delivery of risk and credit loss reporting to meet regulatory and enterprise requirements
  • Strong knowledge of credit loss forecasting, stress testing (CCAR/DFAST), portfolio analytics, and risk reporting processes.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, governance standards, risk controls, and compliance expectations within the banking industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and advanced MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Word
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and partner effectively with business leaders, Risk, Finance, Technology, and other enterprise teams
  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently to identify, develop, and implement data-driven solutions to complex problems.
  • BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, or economics.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
