Director of Facilities
Description
Leidos is seeking a cleared Director of Facilities directly responsible for the operational status of a critically important customer facility which is essential to customer operational availability and mission success. This position requires individual to be independent and have the knowledge/experience to apply pressure at the appropriate levels on the installation to enable this critical mission need. Responsibilities include:
- Provide daily management of facilities projects and plans supporting mission-critical systems and operational objectives.
- Generate, prioritize and track facility work orders based on unit needs, oversee tasks to third-party contractors, and validate work completion.
- Create and manage cost-basis data and route resource allocation approvals to customer resource advisors.
- Direct actions with external agencies for repair of electrical, plumbing, datacenter, UPS and HVAC systems.
- Develop and implement facility emergency management plans.
- Own responsibility for sustainability, energy metering, reducing maintenance costs, retrofits and renovations, for facility controls.
- Track and organize warranty and service level agreements from third-party contracts.
- Develop facility checklist, monitor facility performance thru developed checklists, document daily performance of facility to establish a history of performance.
- Keep multiple levels of customer leadership informed on facility performance.
- Prepare leadership, as appropriate, on how/when to advocate for facility work orders to improve performance.
- Prepare, review, revise, and make recommendations to Statements of Work to installation Civil Engineering to ensure customer equities are appropriately defined/represented.
- Draft and recommend changes to building’s emergency exit maps, diagrams, and blue prints. Train, assist and ensure personnel adhere to opening and closing procedures of maintenance equipment locations for external agencies.
- Assist the customer with monitoring and evaluating Access Control Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems, and make suggestions for improvements as necessary
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Civil Engineering or related fields and a minimum of 12 years of experience in military civil engineering.
Security Clearance:
- Must have a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility. Candidates without this clearance will not be considered.
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program information
- Willingness to submit to and successfully complete a Counterintelligence polygraph
Other Requirements:
- Experience working on military installations
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of all
- Ability to work in a very dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, IC, civilian personnel and industry partners
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Willingness to travel up to 10%

Pay Range:
Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
