We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Program Manager, Electrophysiology & Neuro Transcend and Digital Programs. This position can be based in New Brunswick NJ or Irvine CA.

Purpose:

The Senior Program Manager will play a pivotal role in multi-year global that will modernize end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities for the Electrophysiology and Neurovascular businesses of J&J Med Tech. They will own roadmaps and integrated delivery plans, manage cross-application interdependencies and RAID governance, establish demand intake processes, and oversee business resource allocation and program financials.

The ideal candidate has strong program and portfolio management experience, exceptional stakeholder and dependency-management skills, and a proven track record of delivering consistent outcomes, realizing value, and driving continuous improvement across complex, cross-functional initiatives.

You will be responsible for:

  • Own and maintain integrated roadmaps and detailed delivery plans for Transcend and Digital programs and manage interdependencies with other EP and Neuro Supply Chain initiatives.
  • Lead risk, issue, and action item (RAID) management, ensuring timely identification, escalation, mitigation, and closure.
  • Drive resource planning and financial oversight across waves, coordinating business SMEs and contractors; tracking budgets, forecasts, and actuals related to program delivery.
  • Establish and manage value realization tracking across Transcend and Digital initiatives, measuring and reporting on realized vs. projected benefits.
  • Implement and continuously evolve demand intake and governance processes for the Digital portfolio and Transcend backlog.
  • Develop leadership-level reporting, dashboards, and executive forums that provide clear visibility into program health, dependencies, risks, and outcomes to enable data-driven decisions.
  • Deploy and facilitate an EP Digital Community of Practice (CoP) to standardize best practices, promote knowledge sharing, and elevate citizen developer capabilities through training curricula, playbooks, and community forums.
  • Drive improvements in ways of working (e.g., tools, processes, roles, automation) to increase efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness.
  • Manage project management contractors and junior resources.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field is required.
  • Advanced degree or MBA is preferred.


Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and programs for large-scale initiatives, with success in creating and executing integrated plans, managing interdependencies, and prioritizing competing activities.
  • Solid grasp of project management frameworks and methodologies including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Proven ability to proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and issues to minimize impact and keep programs on schedule.
  • Experience owning portfolio intake/governance, prioritization frameworks, and value realization tracking.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation and influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate at various levels including program teams and senior leadership.
  • Solid financial acumen with experience managing program budgets and resources, including forecasting, variance analysis, and tracking actuals versus plan.
  • Skilled at designing and delivering dashboards and reports tailored to both executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to synthesize complex data, identify root causes, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Strong technical proficiency with project and portfolio tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, and common BI/visualization platforms.


Preferred:

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent program management certification.
  • Agile certifications (CSM/PSPO, SAFe) and experience working with hybrid waterfall/Agile delivery models.
  • Experience improving processes via automation and use of advanced technologies.
  • Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare and/or Medical Technology industries.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and complex multi-ERP or systems environments.
  • People management experience, inclusive of developing, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Exposure to global supply chain environments and working across multiple regions and/or business units.


Other:

  • Travel: Up to 30% domestic and international travel required.
  • Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
