IT Asset/Hardware Analyst
We are looking for an Desktop Analyst to support hardware lifecycle activities and asset governance. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and can manage inventory accuracy, coordinate technical support needs, and work closely with business and IT teams to keep end-user equipment and related processes running smoothly. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to balance day-to-day operational priorities with assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records for company-owned hardware and technology assets, including inventory tracking, assignments, and status updates throughout the asset lifecycle.
• Provide hands-on support for desktops and laptops in an enterprise setting, helping to resolve issues related to device setup, usage, and replacement needs.
• Partner with technical teams, managers, and business stakeholders to clarify operational needs and translate them into practical support and asset management actions.
• Coordinate assigned initiatives and ensure project-related tasks are completed on schedule, with clear follow-up and minimal oversight.
• Support software and hardware compliance efforts by monitoring asset inventory details, license-related information, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with team members to manage service requests, operational workloads, and project deliverables while maintaining service quality.
• Use ticketing and service management platforms to document work, track requests, and communicate progress to end users and internal partners.
• Assist employees across multiple business areas, including branch operations, sales, marketing, finance, customer support, and field services, with hardware and asset-related needs
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in IT asset management within an enterprise environment.• Working knowledge of desktop and laptop support tools and technologies used in large-scale business settings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Adobe products, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or a comparable IT service management or ticketing platform.
• Understanding of asset inventory practices, software license tracking, and IT asset management processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
