Inventory Clerk

We are looking for dependable Inventory Clerks to support a short-term Contract assignment in Lakeland, Florida. In this role, the team will help complete a warehouse inventory count by verifying palletized stock and ensuring records are entered accurately. This opportunity is well suited for individuals who are comfortable in a warehouse environment, can stay focused during a fast-paced project, and are available for a workday that may extend beyond the minimum guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct physical counts of palletized inventory throughout the warehouse with close attention to accuracy.
• Record inventory totals clearly and communicate count information to the designated tracking team.
• Enter count results into Microsoft Excel for positions assigned to data entry tasks, maintaining a high level of precision.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete the inventory project efficiently within the scheduled timeframe.
• Remain available for the full project window, understanding the shift is expected to last at least 6 hours and may extend to 8 or 9 hours depending on completion needs.
• Follow warehouse dress expectations by wearing casual, work-appropriate clothing and closed-toe sneakers.
• Provide confirmation of attendance and assigned role details for candidate coordination prior to the project start.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with warehouse inventory counting or similar stock-related work.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel accurately for data entry responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and count verification.
• Capability to work on your feet in a warehouse setting for the duration of the assignment.
• Reliable availability for a one-day project with a flexible end time.
• Ability to follow instructions, stay organized, and contribute effectively in a team environment.

Compensation

$19.00-$22.00 Hourly
