IT Manager/Director
Responsibilities:
• Direct daily technology operations across infrastructure, networks, business systems, application support, and information security functions.
• Lead, coach, and develop IT team members and project leads while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Shape and execute technology strategies that support company goals, including standards for system selection, deployment, maintenance, and long-term support.
• Oversee the design, implementation, upkeep, and protection of enterprise systems and software applications to ensure reliability and security.
• Evaluate operational and cybersecurity risks, recommend practical safeguards, and drive initiatives that protect company data and system access.
• Partner with development resources to investigate and resolve complex client batch-processing and application performance issues.
• Advise executive and departmental stakeholders on technology priorities, business needs, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency through IT solutions.
• Monitor service performance and project progress to ensure technology services are delivered on schedule, within scope, and with minimal disruption.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants, including service quality, deliverables, and coordination on key initiatives.
• Prepare, track, and manage departmental goals and annual budget plans in support of the organization's strategic direction.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.• At least 10 years of overall IT experience, including 5 or more years leading technology teams, IT operations, and large-scale initiatives.
• Strong hands-on background in C# development with approximately 10 years of experience building or supporting business applications.
• Experience working with SQL and Microsoft-based development environments, along with knowledge of software delivery practices and the software development lifecycle.
• Broad technical understanding of infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems administration, databases, cloud platforms, data storage, and telecommunications.
• Proven ability to communicate technical information clearly, produce thorough documentation, and collaborate effectively with varied stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership, sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive information and high-impact decisions.
• Organized and adaptable approach with the ability to manage competing priorities, facilitate discussions, and maintain a positive service-oriented mindset.
