Project Assistant
We are looking for a Project Assistant to support construction-related initiatives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This contract to permanent position is ideal for someone who can keep project activity organized, maintain scheduling accuracy, and help teams stay aligned with deadlines and documentation needs. The role combines administrative coordination with hands-on project support, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position is fully on-site Monday - Friday, 6/7am-230-330pm. Pay range $23-$26/hr.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate day-to-day project support activities to help construction work progress according to established milestones and priorities.
• Maintain and update master schedules, tracking key deadlines, deliverables, and project status changes for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor timelines across multiple active assignments and communicate scheduling risks or delays to the appropriate team members.
• Organize, scan, and maintain project records so documentation remains accurate, accessible, and up to date.
• Assist with project planning tasks, meetings, and follow-up actions to ensure next steps are clearly documented and completed.
• Support project managers with administrative and coordination efforts related to construction project execution.
• Prepare and distribute schedule updates, reports, and other project materials needed for ongoing team communication.
Qualifications:
• Experience providing coordination or administrative support for construction projects or similar project-based environments.• Ability to manage timelines effectively while balancing competing deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Working knowledge of master scheduling practices and project tracking methods.
• Proficiency in scanning, organizing, and maintaining project documentation with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project management processes, including status tracking, meeting follow-up, and documentation support.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks independently in a structured and deadline-driven setting.
Compensation
