Customer Service Supervisor
We are looking for a proactive Customer Service Supervisor to lead service operations within a healthcare environment in South Carolina. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys guiding frontline teams, maintaining high service standards, and creating a responsive, customer-focused workplace. The role combines day-to-day operational oversight with staff coaching, quality monitoring, and close collaboration with facility stakeholders in a fast-moving setting.
Responsibilities:
• Direct the daily work of a team of approximately 15 to 20 employees supporting environmental and building services functions.
• Set priorities at the start of each shift, organize assignments, and make sure team members have the materials needed to complete their work effectively.
• Evaluate service quality through routine walkthroughs and inspections of patient-facing and public spaces, including restrooms and common areas.
• Coach employees on performance expectations, reinforce accountability, and provide ongoing training to strengthen team effectiveness.
• Respond to service-related concerns from internal departments and build strong working relationships across the hospital.
• Track output and workforce performance using productivity measures and operational reporting tools.
• Coordinate scheduling and staffing coverage to support consistent service delivery across assigned areas.
• Enforce safety, sanitation, hand hygiene, and infection prevention practices in accordance with facility standards.
• Support departmental goals by maintaining a visible leadership presence and stepping in as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a supervisory, team lead, or people management role.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle concerns effectively and maintain a service-driven culture.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Solid organizational and workforce coordination skills, including scheduling and task delegation.
• Experience in hospitality, facilities, operations, service management, or a related setting is preferred.
• Healthcare industry exposure is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to complete required pre-employment and healthcare compliance screenings, including required screening procedures and vaccination requirements.
• Ability to spend much of the shift walking and standing in a healthcare setting.
Compensation
