Our client is seeking several experienced Business Immigration Attorneys to support a high-volume practice on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with strong employment-based immigration experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision.


Temporary Business Immigration Attorney (3–6 Month Contract)

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 to 4 Days in Office Per Week)

Duration: 3–6 Month Contract Assignment with Potential for Extension

Pay: $45-$65/hour


Please Note: The majority of assignments and work product will be writing-intensive, requiring strong legal drafting, analytical, and case preparation skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of employment-based immigration matters with minimal supervision
  • Research complex immigration issues and develop practical, strategic solutions
  • Draft, prepare, and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation
  • Independently oversee case preparation and develop strategies for complex matters
  • Utilize legal precedent and technical knowledge to address unique client situations
  • Clearly communicate complex immigration concepts to clients and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely, organized, and professional manner
  • Participate in client meetings, briefings, and consultations as needed
  • Mentor and support junior attorneys and staff when appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies, case management protocols, and recordkeeping requirements
  • Meet productivity expectations while maintaining a high standard of work quality
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and client service delivery
  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and offices to share knowledge and best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • J.D. or LL.M. from an accredited U.S. law school
  • Active membership in at least one U.S. State Bar or the Washington, D.C. Bar
  • 3–5 years of business immigration experience at the associate level
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. business immigration law and procedures
  • Exceptional legal writing, drafting, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding client service
  • Ability to work collaboratively while also managing matters independently



Compensation

$45.00-$65.00 Hourly
