Payroll Administrator

Compensation: $60 to $65 Yearly

We are looking for a Payroll / Human Resources Administrator to support day-to-day payroll and human resources operations in Kentucky. This position is ideal for someone who can balance accuracy, organization, and responsiveness while managing payroll tasks, employee records, onboarding coordination, and benefits support. The role offers an opportunity to contribute across multiple administrative functions in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and sound judgment are essential.


Responsibilities:

• Process regular payroll accurately and within established deadlines for both hourly and salaried employees.

• Review timekeeping information, resolve discrepancies, and maintain reliable attendance and pay records.

• Administer payroll adjustments such as deductions, garnishments, benefit elections, and direct deposit updates.

• Prepare payroll-related reports, support year-end tax documentation, and coordinate reconciliations with accounting.

• Facilitate onboarding activities, orientation scheduling, and completion of required employment documentation.

• Maintain organized personnel files and ensure HR records remain current, secure, and compliant.

• Support benefits administration by coordinating enrollments, status changes, and employee questions related to coverage.

• Assist with recruiting logistics, including interview coordination, candidate communication, and tracking staffing activity.

• Monitor training, certifications, leave requests, and compliance documentation while helping maintain policy and handbook updates.

• Help manage workers’ compensation, unemployment matters, audit support, and other HR compliance reporting requirements.


Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in payroll, human resources administration, or a combination of both.

• Practical experience handling full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including special deductions and withholdings.

• Familiarity with payroll practices and payroll volumes ranging from small teams to mid-sized employee populations.

• Working knowledge of employment regulations, payroll compliance standards, and HR administrative best practices.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with strong capability in Excel for tracking and reporting.

• Experience using payroll and HRIS platforms.

• Strong organizational ability, careful attention to detail, and discretion when managing confidential employee information

$60,000.00-$65,000.00 Yearly
