Sr. Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting activities to help maintain stable and accurate financial operations across the organization.
• Manage general ledger activity, including preparing and recording journal entries and other required accounting adjustments.
• Perform account, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Support month-end close activities by organizing financial data, validating transactions, and assisting with reporting deliverables.
• Work across parallel accounting records during the business system implementation to preserve data accuracy and consistency.
• Investigate accounting issues, resolve transactional discrepancies, and contribute to process improvements tied to operational changes.
• Collaborate closely with finance leadership, local accounting personnel, and project stakeholders to maintain continuity in accounting operations.
• Create and document standard operating procedures to help formalize workflows and strengthen internal accounting practices.
• Travel occasionally to partner locations, including Miami-area offices or other company sites, when in-person support is needed.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience working at the Senior Accountant level in a hands-on accounting environment.
• Strong background in month-end close, general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
• Demonstrated ability to complete bank reconciliations and resolve variances with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience supporting accounting activities in environments with evolving or loosely defined processes.
• Prior exposure to Business Central (BC) is a must.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote arrangement while also attending meetings in Miami, Florida if required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with accounting teams, leadership, and implementation partners.
• French language skills are a plus.
