VP of Finance Shared Services
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance Shared Services to provide strategic leadership for our client's large, multi-function Shared Services organization supporting hospitality and gaming operations. This executive will partner closely with senior leadership to drive operational excellence, ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance, lead high-performing teams, and champion continuous process improvement across the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple Finance Shared Services departments, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP, SOX, and gaming regulations.
- Oversee accounting operations, general ledger integrity, reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on process improvement, operational efficiency, and exceptional internal client service.
- Lead system implementations and finance transformation projects.
- Partner with executive leadership and key business stakeholders to drive best practices and organizational objectives.
- Build, mentor, and develop leadership teams while driving employee engagement and succession planning.
- Ensure consistent accounting policies and standardized processes across multiple business units.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required.
- 10+ years of hospitality accounting or finance experience with 12+ years of progressive leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Experience with financial applications and casino management systems.
- Proven ability to influence executive leadership and collaborate across large organizations.
- Ability to obtain the highest level of gaming licensure.
- CPA and/or advanced degree preferred.
- Hotel/casino finance experience.
- Knowledge of gaming regulations.
- Experience with Oracle ERP/EPM, Cognos BI, Power BI, or similar financial systems.
- Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other process improvement/project management certifications preferred.
- Experience leading finance transformation and shared services initiatives.
