Accounts Receivable Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Manage invoice entry, payment posting, and batch reconciliation to keep accounts receivable records accurate and current.
• Investigate outstanding balances and resolve customer account discrepancies through research, follow-up, and collection outreach.
• Prepare receivables aging summaries and monitor open items to support timely payment collection and cash flow visibility.
• Record cash receipts, maintain related journals, and reconcile sub-ledger activity against the general ledger.
• Respond to information requests from customers, shipping contacts, sales teams, and other internal or external business partners.
• Reconcile bank activity and post financial transactions across multiple ledgers with a high degree of accuracy.
• Review supporting documentation and validate coding to ensure transactions are processed correctly and in line with established procedures.
• Assist with core accounting activities, including monthly close support, payment processing, and preparation of selected financial report components.
• Represent company values through clear communication, professionalism, and consistent collaboration across departments.
Qualifications:
• Experience in accounts receivable, billing, cash application, or related accounting support work.• Proficiency with accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning platforms.
• Working knowledge of general ledger reconciliation, bank account balancing, and financial record maintenance.
• Ability to research account issues, resolve discrepancies, and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Familiarity with tools such as ADP, CRM systems, Epic, or similar financial and operational software.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify documents, review coding, and process transactions accurately.
• Comfortable handling multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a structured accounting environment.
